Ordinanca: offline edition

1. Your data stays on your device

Ordinanca stores data locally on the device where it’s installed. You have full control over it. Since nothing is uploaded, the offline edition has no sync, automatic cloud backup, or remote access. Backups are your responsibility (e.g. manually exporting data from the app).

2. Anonymous usage statistics

To improve the app, Ordinanca collects anonymous and non-identifiable usage statistics via the Aptabase service. These include only general data such as:

• the name of the screen that was opened (e.g. “Patients”, “Schedule”),
• the app version and edition,
• general events such as the app launching.

We never send data that identifies patients or you: no name, personal number, phone number, or clinical note content.

3. Automatic updates

When downloaded directly from our site, the app periodically checks for new versions by fetching a manifest file from our updates server. This check does not include any clinical data.

Note: the version distributed via the Microsoft Store is updated by the Store itself and does not use our update check.

4. Security

Since data stays on your device, its security depends on the security of the device itself. We recommend using device password/encryption and regular backups to protect patient data.

5. Your rights and deletion

You can delete data at any time by removing it from the app or by uninstalling the program and deleting the local database file. Since we don’t keep a copy, there’s nothing for you to request us to delete.

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes are published on this page with the updated date above.
